Description :
The Fiat M-14/41 medium tank was used by the Italian Regio Esercito armored Brigades from 1941 to 1943. It was a slightly improved version of the earlier M-13/40 using the same chassis and the same main armament formed by the 47/32 gun located in the turret. Even the secondary armament was the same and based on four Breda 8 mm machine guns : two combined in the hull, one coaxial to the main gun and the last one on top of the turret for the anti-aircrafts defense. The main difference, also recognized in the external design for radiator grilles, was the adoption of the new, and more powerful, 8 V cylinders Fiat SPA-diesel engine The crew was formed by commander, gunner, driver and machine gunner). Le char moyen Fiat M-14/41 fut utilisé par les brigades blindées italiennes du Regio Esercito de 1941 à 1943. Version légèrement améliorée du M-13/40, il reprenait le même châssis et le même armement principal : un canon de 47/32 en tourelle. L'armement secondaire était également identique et se composait de quatre mitrailleuses Breda de 8 mm : deux intégrées à la caisse, une coaxiale au canon principal et la dernière, placée sur le toit de la tourelle, pour la défense antiaérienne. La principale différence, également visible dans le design extérieur des grilles de radiateur, résidait dans l'adoption du nouveau moteur diesel Fiat SPA à 8 cylindres en V, plus puissant. L'équipage était composé d'un chef de char, d'un tireur, d'un pilote et d'un mitrailleur. Le M-14/41 fut largement utilisé lors de toutes les opérations militaires en Afrique du Nord pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale.
