The Italian company Caproni began producing the light twin-engine bomber Ca.310 and the more powerful Ca.311 for the Italian Air Force in the late 1930s. These also attracted foreign customers. Belgium ordered the Ca.310 and Norway the Ca.311, but with more powerful engines. Caproni first offered Belgium the Ca.312 Belge, built on the basis of the Ca.310, but the production machines were to be built for both countries on the basis of the Ca.311. They were to differ in the design of the nose section. The Belgian machines were to have a stepped nose while the Norwegian ones a smooth shaped nose in the He 111 style. In contrast to the Ca.311, they had massive engine cowlings, three-bladed propellers and modified landing gear. Caproni managed to build two Ca.312s by the time Belgium and Norway had been occupied by the German Wehrmacht and both orders were cancelled. The unfinished batch of 24 was taken over by the Italian Regia Aeronautica. They were operated in the transport role in Italy, Africa and on the Eastern Front. Two machines were used as ambulances on the Eastern Front and flew white overall with red cross markings.
The plastic mouldings are completed with a combination of 3D printed parts, resin parts and etchings of the new engines, the cowlings, landing gear parts and interior. The decals offer a Norwegian prototype option with a smooth nose and three Italian machines with stepped noses. Two are camouflaged, one from Italy, the second from Africa and the third one, white overall, flew as an ambulance in the Caucasus area.

La société italienne Caproni commença la production du bombardier bimoteur léger Ca.310 et du Ca.311, plus puissant, pour l'armée de l'air italienne à la fin des années 1930. Ces appareils attirèrent également des clients étrangers. La Belgique commanda le Ca.310 et la Norvège le Ca.311, mais avec des moteurs plus puissants. Caproni proposa d'abord à la Belgique le Ca.312 Belge, construit sur la base du Ca.310, mais les appareils de série destinés aux deux pays devaient être construits sur la base du Ca.311. Ils devaient différer par la conception de la partie avant : les appareils belges devaient avoir un nez en escalier, tandis que les norvégiens devaient avoir un nez lisse, dans le style du He 111. Contrairement au Ca.311, ils possédaient des capots moteurs massifs, des hélices tripales et un train d'atterrissage modifié. Caproni parvint à construire deux Ca.312 avant que la Belgique et la Norvège ne soient occupées par la Wehrmacht allemande, et les deux commandes furent annulées. Le lot inachevé de 24 appareils fut repris par la Regia Aeronautica italienne. Ils furent utilisés comme avions de transport en Italie, en Afrique et sur le front de l'Est. Deux appareils servirent d'ambulances sur le front de l'Est et arboraient une livrée blanche ornée de croix rouges.
Les pièces en plastique sont complétées par une combinaison de pièces imprimées en 3D, de pièces en résine et de photodécoupes représentant les nouveaux moteurs, les capots, les éléments du train d'atterrissage et l'intérieur. La planche de décalcomanies propose une version prototype norvégienne à nez lisse et trois versions italiennes à nez étagé. Deux appareils sont camouflés : l'un a servi en Italie, l'autre en Afrique, et le troisième, entièrement blanc, a été utilisé comme ambulance dans le Caucase.
