The Panzerkampfwagen V "Panther" was one of the most famous tanks of the Second World War.
It was created as a direct response to the Soviet T-34 and KV-1 tanks, which were far superior in power and armament to the Panzer III and Panzer IV on the Eastern Front.
It was powered by a V-12 Maybach engine with 700 hp and was equipped with an extremely effective 7.5 cm KwK 42 main gun.

Le Panzerkampfwagen V « Panther » fut l'un des chars les plus célèbres de la Seconde Guerre mondiale.
Il a été conçu en réponse directe aux chars soviétiques T-34 et KV-1, dont la puissance et l'armement étaient bien supérieurs à ceux des Panzer III et Panzer IV sur le front de l'Est.
Il était propulsé par un moteur V-12 Maybach de 700 ch et équipé d'un canon principal KwK 42 de 7,5 cm extrêmement efficace.
