The 1st Mountain Division (German: 1. Gebirgs-Division) was one of the German Army's (Wehrmacht) mountain infantry divisions during the Second World War.

It was involved in war crimes committed by the Wehrmacht, notably the massacre in the village of Kommeno, Greece, on August 16, 1943, and the massacre of Italian troops in Cephalonia in 1943.
