The high degree of motorization of the Wehrmacht units became one of the reasons for the rapid campaigns in the initial period of World War II. Special off-road cars, which were used at the front, helped to solve combat and auxiliary tasks successfully. Light standard off-road vehicles in the versions of staff, anti-aircraft and radio vehicles could be found in many units of the German army. The vehicles were quite complex in design, that`s why they were in relatively small amount in the Wehrmacht units – about 13,000 pieces.

Les véhicules tout-terrain spéciaux, utilisés au front, contribuèrent à l'accomplissement des missions de combat et de soutien. On trouvait des véhicules tout-terrain légers standard, en versions état-major, antiaérienne et radio, dans de nombreuses unités de l'armée allemande. Leur conception assez complexe explique leur nombre relativement restreint au sein de la Wehrmacht : environ 13 000 exemplaires.
