Plastic model kit for an Italian Autoblinda AB 40 armored reconnaissance vehicle

The AB 40 was an armored car used by Italian troops from 1939 onwards to monitor the Italian colonies in North Africa. It was lightly armored, capable of speeds of almost 80 km/h, and equipped with a rotating turret mounting two 8 mm Breda machine guns. An 8 mm machine gun in the hull served for self-defense. It featured a tire pressure control system that adjusted the tire contact patch to the terrain.
